Huge congratulations to Maya Bauer and NSW State Team Coach Michelle Huo on recent achievements at the Australian National Championships held on the Gold Coast on May 14th to 16th 2022.
Following NSW State Championships, Maya was selected as a member of six athletes only which constituted the Level 10 NSW State Team. The NSW State Team achieved 1st overall and was awarded the Australian Cup resulting from the highest combined scores out of all Level 10 athletes at the event.
Individually, Maya achieved an 11th AA ranking with a personal best score of 19.750 for Ball.
Maya also ranked 6th in Hoop, 8th in Ball, 6th in Clubs and 21st in Ribbon in Australia.
The hard work, consistent effort and commitment to training exhibited by Maya in her preparation lead up for this Nationals event is truly commended.
Maya will continue her rhythmic gymnastics training next year with a goal to compete at interstate and international competition event opportunities.
